The Blindside showcase at Contact East (2017) was the hit of the conference. Stéphanie Morin-Robert’s one-woman show was the one that all of the presenters wanted to bring to their community. A number of them will be offering several daytime shows for students and evening performances for the public at large. Here in Clare Stephanie will be giving a workshop (in French) to students from l’École secondaire de Clare on Tuesday Nov. 6 and her concert, Blindside (in English) will be presented on Wednesday, Nov. 7. This is a family-friendly show and highly recommended for anyone from ten years old and up.

Blindside is an award-winning and highly acclaimed  solo dance-storytelling-multimedia show and a personal account of growing up with cancer and a glass eye. Stéphanie's promotional pamphlet refers to it as "an eye-popping comedy of resilience, empathy, and self-acceptance! In a feat of riveting comedy, one-eyed storytelling champion and cancer survivor Stephanie Morin-Robert recounts her life as a feisty 7 year-old who wields her glass eye as a superpower."
