Le Moulin présente le bluesman acadien JP LeBlanc, et il sera accompagné de Clinton Fernandes, un batteur/percussionniste exceptionnel. Pour JP, originaire de Bathurst, N.-B., il s'agit d'un retour à Clare, où il s'est produit à quelques reprises il y a plus de 20 ans.

JP a tourné au Canada et en Europe -il est présentement en France- et il a représenté les provinces de l’Atlantique à l'International Blues Challenge à Memphis en 2024. Il a tout récemment enregistré un album à Nashville avec le légendaire Colin Linden (un lauréat du Grammy) et avec l’invité spécial Steve Riley. Sa musique est une fusion de ses racines blues avec les sonorités de la Louisiane. Fortement influencé par sa participation au Festival Acadien et Créole à Lafayette en octobre 2022, JP LeBlanc a produit un EP de blues en français qui met l'emphase sur la guitare dobro avec un son qui provient droit du bayou. Pour ce spectacle il chantera surtout en français.

Le Moulin presents Acadian bluesman JP LeBlanc, who will be accompanied by Clinton Fernandes, an impressive drummer/percussionist. For JP, a native of Bathurst, N.B., this is his return to Clare, having performed here several times over 20 years ago.

JP has toured Canada and Europe -he's currently in France- and he represented the East Coast at the International Blues Challenge in Memphis in 2024. He recently recorded an album in Nashville with Grammy winner Colin Linden and special guest Steve Riley. His music is a fusion of his blues roots with the sounds of Louisiana. Strongly influenced by his participation in the Festival Acadien et Créole in Lafayette in October 2022, JP LeBlanc has produced a blues EP in French that emphasizes the dobro guitar with a sound that comes straight from the bayou.
