Voici une description de la pièce telle que présentée par la compagnie./Here is a description of the play as described by the company:

“Inside/Out is written and performed by Patrick Keating, a kind, soft-spoken and sincere artist who spent years in and out of Canada’s penitentiary system. Keating’s honest and engaging delivery of his funny, sad and stirring story dismantles our ideas of what a criminal looks like, and helps us better understand how language, race and class play a real part in our lives as Canadians. Inside/Out is about a man’s search for community: the community of the street, the community of prison, and the community of theatre.”

Patrick has appeared on The X-Files, Da Vinci's Inquest, and other shows.

La presse en parle/Media quotes:

"Darkly funny...a vivid and necessary reminder that people in prison are, first and foremost, human beings." -Georgia Straight

"Inside/Out succeeds as theatre beyond personality because it invites us to learn a great deal, in a short period, about a very different world. Keating - the artful dodger- has an unusual charm. Inside/Out makes for a strangely original evening. It's a carefully non-emotional show. With its restraint, there is dignity." -Vancouver Plays

"Patrick Keating has been quietly fueling this city's independent theatre scene with substance, rigor, and honesty....a brave and articulate work." Executive Director, PuSH International Performing Arts Festival

"This is compelling, embracing, troubling, and touching theatre as up close and personal as it gets." -Broken Leg Reviews
